THIS Weekend: food drive for Medfield families

From the Medfield Food Cupboard...

Once again the United States Postal Service employees in Medfield are working to help those in our community who rely on the Medfield Food Cupboard to feed their families. On Saturday, May 11th, postal drivers will collect any bags of food left next to, or hanging from the flags of, mailboxes on their routes and deliver them to the Medfield Food Cupboard.

The items especially needed this year include:

Juice (boxes or bottles)
Raisins
Canned fruit
Applesauce cups
Pasta sauce
Canned chicken
Cereal
Macaroni and cheese

The Food Cupboard is always in need of peanut butter, jelly, canned pasta sauce, tuna (in water), and rice. At this time the Food Cupboard doesn't need any soup, canned vegetables or pasta.

Financial and SCRIP donations are always welcome and can be mailed to PO Box 172, Medfield, MA 02052.

Perishable, expired, or opened items should not be donated, as these may not be used and must be thrown away.
